Week 13 5-10

We continued to have problems with our robot. And we had to make adjustments to the rubber rollers and to the motors. We also had problems with the weight of robot. One side was too heavy which made the robot fall forward when it picked up the ball, so we had to come up with a way to add weight on the other side or remove some weight. Ion figured out a way to center the weight and now the robot works. We have finished our Racket ball challenge and now the  are on the autonomous. Where we have to do the exact same thing, but the robot has to do it by itself.

Week 13 5/6

We are still having trouble building the robot, we have also been in and out of exam testing, so we have, and will be barely in class this week and the next. We are still working on the "scooper" part of the robot and we have added the extra motor. We also have remembered that we have to keep a look out for the battery voltage levels.                               

Week 12 5/3

We started assembling our parts and adding a "scooper" like curve at the end of the robot's arm. We are trying our best to think about what would be best for the robot without having to rebuild it over and over. Our plan is to use rubber rollers that will help the ball roll smoothly toward the robot instead of away from it.
